SGDP under the leadership of the National Coordinator; Comrade Ayo Adamolekun, distributed Free Exercise Books to all the Sunday School Children of St. James Anglican Church, Ayegbaju-Ekiti, Diocese of Ekiti Oke, Anglican Communion from Infants to Teenagers.

The Kids Guardian; Ayo Adamolekun said the move was made based on the Vision of SGDP i.e Making Positive Global Change as well as ensuring for the achievement of Quality Education (Goal 4) of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) come 2030.

The Proud Son of Ayegbaju-Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area briefly introduced what SGDP stands for saying:
Sustainable Grassroots Development Program (SGDP) is aimed at discovering, deliberating and procuring sustainable solutions to the societal problems right from the grassroots to the nooks and crannies of the Nation as a way of complementing the efforts of our Government.
It is our collective responsibility and a mandate given to all human to cater for the needs of others and ensure sustainable action is taken towards the re-occurrence of such situation.
He explained further the Mission of SGDP:
To ensures for a society that will be livable by all and sundry, being a voice to the voiceless, helper to the helpless and thereby procuring sustainable solutions to the societal problems.
The National Coordinator/Convener said:
Education is the key to sustainable development, improving overall quality of life and securing a successful future.

He stretched further that lack of quality writing materials has caused a setback on the academic performance of the Pupils/Students, thereby causing great danger to their future and to the Nation's, also increases the number of illiterates in the Nation as 750million adults are illiterate.

He explained the usefulness of Education that; Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop. Learning languages through educational processes helps interact with different people in order to exchange ideas, knowledge, good practices. It teaches us to live in harmony.

He concluded that, the Nation requires us as individuals to make a positive change move towards procuring sustainable solutions to the societal problems as a way of complementing the efforts of our government.
If you disagree to be the change agent, others too will disagree.
He advises everyone to be a solution to the problems the society and it's people are facing because if you fails to take it as a task, others too will neglect it.
